Einstein’s work was quite different – there, a single physicist came up with a set of insights that helped explain prior work, and also made specific, testable predictions. ENCODE is hyisohespt-generating research, more akin to space exploration or large-scale ecological surveys. Now we need some Einsteins to come along and make sense of the ENCODE data.
